Zelda was born in Taipei, Taiwan and grew up with Japanese animation and manga. Her biggest dream as a child was to become a successful manga artist like Naoko Takeuchi, creator of Sailor Moon. Zelda started making her own manga with blank pages from her homework books at around the age of 10. After moving to the U.S.A., Zelda kept working with several original manga story ideas including "Legend: Rain of Flowers", "Record of Time", and "Renaissance Museum".
Out of the love for anime, Zelda has worked for The Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation, and designed the official mascots for their annual event Anime Expo.
In Summer 2008, her short graphic novel, MYth: My Seasons was completed. It was her very first self-publication ever. Viewable here: MYth: My Seasons
